Masks of hope

A traveling exhibit created in partnership with Kids Rank and the National Veterans Art Museum, Masks of Hope provides the chance for children in military families to tell their stories through art. Each participant was given a blank mask and paint, with the theme of what does it mean to be a child in a military family. Through this catalogue, participants and their families were interviewed and photographed along with their art. Since the creation of the project, it has grew into a national exhibit and even was brought to the White House. The catalogue and still be purchased at this link.
